Eco Club & Vermi Compost Unit

The Eco Club & Vermi Compost Unit of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha work together to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and green living among students and staff. The club inspires young minds to become responsible stewards of nature, fostering habits that contribute to a cleaner, greener, and healthier planet.

The Eco Club organizes a variety of activities such as tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, waste management workshops, and awareness rallies on environmental issues. It encourages students to understand their ecological responsibility and take action toward preserving the environment.

The Vermi Compost Unit is a hands-on initiative that teaches students the importance of waste recycling and organic composting. By converting biodegradable waste into nutrient-rich manure, the unit not only supports campus greenery but also serves as a living model of sustainable waste management practices.

Objectives
