National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha is a proud symbol of discipline, service, and leadership. The NCC instills in young students the spirit of patriotism, unity, and selfless service to the nation, while also equipping them with essential qualities of courage, confidence, and responsibility.

The NCC at the college functions under the 3 Punjab Battalion, Ludhiana, and provides cadets with training in drill, weapon handling, map reading, first aid, and leadership development. The unit regularly participates in a range of activities including parades, social service drives, national integration camps, and adventure training — nurturing a sense of duty and nation-building among the youth.

Through the NCC, students not only receive basic military training but also learn the values of teamwork, discipline, and moral integrity that prepare them for future challenges in both civil and defense careers.

Objectives
