National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Guru Nanak National College, Doraha reflects the true spirit of community service and social responsibility. Guided by the motto “Not Me But You,” the NSS Unit encourages students to dedicate themselves to the welfare of society, fostering values of empathy, leadership, and selfless service.

Our college takes immense pride in hosting an active and vibrant NSS Unit that continually works to promote social awareness, environmental protection, and community development. Through various outreach programs and extension activities, our volunteers become agents of positive change, bridging the gap between the college and the community.

  • Cleanliness Drives (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan) on campus and nearby villages.
  • Tree Plantation and Environmental Awareness Campaigns.
  • Health Camps and Blood Donation Drives.
  • Voter Awareness and Road Safety Campaigns.
  • Workshops and Seminars on social issues like gender equality, literacy, and health.
  • Seven-Day Special Camps in adopted villages for rural development.
